    Hi Sabrina –

I’d be happy to help you out. Before we discuss a barn call, though, I have to ask you for a completed template of your horse’s back and a good conformation shot. These will help me determine which saddles and trees would be most likely to work for you. You can find a video tutorial on taking the template at http://pantherrunsaddlery.com/?page_id=434. You can email the photo to me at pantherrunsaddlery@yahoo.com, and mail the template to Panther Run Saddlery, 507 Wuerslin Rd., Sandgate, VT 05250. If you have any questions, please email.

Hello I am wondering what saddles you have had the best luck fitting a TB with. Medium-high wither with only a slight dip after, narrow shoulder, but a back and croup that I wouldn’t call broad but is boarding on the cusp of the word. I have been told to try to Prestige Roma but have been told you may have something that fits that may be a bit less expensive but same quality.

    Hi Tamika –

There are quite a few different saddles that suit the conformation you describe, but the best way to start would be to have you send a template of your horse’s back (video tutorial here on the site at http://pantherrunsaddlery.com/?page_id=434) and a good conformation shot of your horse (whole horse, weight on all 4 legs, on level ground against a contrasting background). It’s also helpful to have a completed saddle fitting questionnaire (http://pantherrunsaddlery.com/?page_id=104 – you can copy and paste in the body of an email) so I have an idea of your needs and buget. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at pantherrunsaddlery@yahoo.com.
